Church Security Team Handgun Qualification Drill
Close Combat Course
Distance: 3 Yards
Time: 4 Seconds per target exposure
Target: TCQ-95 (2 targets minimum 3 feet apart)
Rounds: 6 Rounds
Position:
Exposure 1 — From the holster, draw and fire 1 round at each target
Exposure 2 — From the holster, draw and fire 1 round at each target
Exposure 3 — With handgun in the support hand only, fire 1 round at each target.
Score: All rounds must be in the combat scoring area
Intermediate Combat Course
Distance: 1 Target at 7 Yards and 1 target at 10 Yards
Time:
1st Exposure — 6 Seconds
2nd Exposure — 16 Seconds
3rd Exposure — 10 Seconds
Target: TCQ-95
Rounds: 12 Rounds
Position: All shots must be taken from behind cover
1st Exposure — 1 round per target (6 seconds)
2nd Exposure — 3 rounds to each target, RELOAD, fire 3 rounds to each target from a different exposure (16 seconds)
3rd Exposure — 2 rounds to close target from support hand side of cover and 2 rounds to far target (10 seconds)
Score: 10 rounds must be within combat scoring area, 2 rounds are allowed within confines of the silhouette
Marksmanship Course
Distance: 12 Yards
Time: 90 Seconds
Target: TCQ-95
Rounds: 12 Rounds
Position:
6 shots standing
6 shots kneeling
Score: 11 out of 12 shots in center mass ring, 1 shot allowed in combat scoring area
Cognitive & Reload Course Casino Drill
Distance: 5 Yards
Time: 21 Seconds
Target: DT-2A
Rounds: Start with 7 rounds in your holstered gun and two magazines, 7 rounds in each, in mag holsters; the total is 21 rounds.
Position: At the buzzer shoot the number 1 target once, the number 2 target twice, the number 3 target three times, the number 4 target four times, the number 5 target five times, and the number 6 target six times. You will need to reload after the 1st shot on the number 4 target and after the 4th shot on the number 5 target.
Score: The goal is to achieve all hits on all target numbers (no misses) within 21 seconds
